Got a puppy this morning.
Meet Monty :)

The amazing Anne Frank house.

It was amazing, visually seeing everything she had made many references to in her diary, from the ladder-like steep stairs, to the beautiful view from her attic where she would go for the only fresh air she could breathe, and look up to see her favourite tree outside the window.
Seeing where and how she lived led to many unexpected giggles, gasps and tears. Giggles for the photos on her walls, at understanding her frustration in climbing those torturous stairs multiple times a day (I suffered just doing it once!), gasps at the small proximity of the space where the two families lived for so long, and tears at a short video of Anne Franks father, the only survivor, and his comments on his daughters diary. 
I consider it a must-see for anyone lucky enough to visit the beautiful Amsterdam. 

An experience I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

i want this said at my funeral.

this was handed out at my poppys funeral. plus another verse. I hated it at first. I didn’t take it in, I didn’t really want to. 
It took me a while but I love it now. Love it. I read it a lot, it helps. I believe it entirely.
